I am an evolutionary biologist and vertebrate palaeontologist studying the evolution of dinosaurs. I especially like to spend my time thinking about ankylosaurs, a group of armoured dinosaurs which sometimes have cool tail weapons.
I’m currently an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow working with Dr. David Evans at the Royal Ontario Museum and University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. From 2014 to 2016 I was based at the Paleontology Research Lab at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences (a joint position with North Carolina State University). You can also follow my updates on Twitter, or contact me by email at victoria dot arbour at gmail dot com.
And one more thing while you’re here! Pseudoplocephalus has been nominated for the Canada’s Favourite Science Blog People’s Choice Award! If you like what you see here, hop on over to Science Borealis before October 14th, 2017, and cast your vote!
